Mawasem. Natural Taste of Palestine

Sumac

Sumac, harvested by the Palestinian women from Silwad village, near Ramallah, is a sundried spice that originally grows on the sumac trees located on the hills of Palestine. After the entire drying process, the farmers carefully select the finest sumac fruits, clean them and grind them in order to get 100% natural spice, without any preservatives and additives. Its unique sweet and sour flavour gives a distinctive taste to salads and meals.
