Our sumac is produced by a group of 20 women from Silwad village near Ramallah. They are specialized in harvesting drupes of sumac from the surrounding hills. Women harvest the drupes of sumac and dried it by using sun-drying technique.

Mawasem sumac is so special because it is a wild plant, picked by local women, who are able increase their income by harvesting this unique seasoning for you.
