Al-Jiftlik Cooperative

Al-Jiftlik cooperative lies in one of the lowest point of the world called Jordan Valley. This special agricultural area produces a high quality eggplant which enabled local women to produce Mawasem makdous (stuffed eggplant – main appetizer of Palestinian cuisine). The cooperative was established to empower the women in Al-Jiftlek village to have an opportunity to get a job for supporting their families and children.
