Tahini
Tahini is an oily paste made from ground roasted sesame. It is a popular product, that you can find in the cuisine of the Middle East, North Africa, South Caucasus and Eastern Mediterranean. It is served by itself or mixed into well-known appetizers, such as hummus, baba ghanoush and halva. Besides, you can mix it with dates or Mawasem grape molasses – it would soothe their flavour and decrease the level of sweetness.
