Al-Aqrabanieh is a dynamically developing women cooperative located in the Jordan Valley. Women are the heart and the driving power of the Al-Aqrabanieh cooperative aiming at empowering them in social, economic and cultural manner. Iman – the leader of the cooperative – she is a strong, powerful and supportive person. Her personality inspires other women in the village.

The cooperative stands out by the production of organic thyme. They are one of the very few producers of organic thyme in Palestine!

They worked hard to obtain Bio-UE and Fairtrade certificate.
